    This is one of the best restaurants in Muskoka, great food , great value, great atmosphere.

    Great quiet spot in Port Carling. The back deck overlooks the locks, creating a serene spot in the middle of town.

    If I were to summarize Loondocks in one word it would be FRESH. The service, the food, the ambiance are all carefully designed to create an amazing dining experience.

    Whenever you find a restaurant with such a dedicated owner/head Chef like Kevin you never forget your experience. The aura surrounding Loondocks is simply amazing. I have been to Loondocks every year since they first opened and am about as loyal a customer as they come.

    I enjoyed a fantastic meal here. We shared three small plates amongst four of us including the venison and gnocchi which were both fantastic.
